CHOOSE THE OVEN
Tangential cooling function. Thanks to the operation of a powerful fan, an air barrier is created around the oven, and the air moving in it prevents heat leakage and protects the surface of the oven and kitchen furniture from overheating. Even at the highest operating temperatures, the oven door has a safe temperature, which eliminates the risk of burns. This way, the walls of the oven do not heat up during cooking, preserving your furniture.
Type of control: mechanical, electronic and combined. At mechanical type of management rotary handles happen "sunk" or usual. In electronically controlled ovens, touch or electronic function control is performed with the handles, and information about the selected program and other values is displayed on the LED display. Combined control often involves a combination of mechanical temperature controllers and program selection with a built-in electronic timer.
Convection. A convection fan is used for more even cooking in the oven. Convection is a mode of heating the oven in which the air due to the operation of the fan is constantly circulating throughout the space of the oven. This seemingly simple process allows the dish to be cooked evenly on all sides. With a convection fan, you can forget about the cases when one part of your culinary creation burned, and the other - remained raw.
Cleaning. There are several ways to clean the oven:
- Enamel of easy cleaning (often this method is called by manufacturers more "technologically": hydrolysis, Smart Clean, Easy Clean, etc.) and anti-grease filters - the simplest of them. Contaminants are removed manually, and the surface is easy to clean. The inner surface of such an oven should be smooth.
- Catalytic purification system. In ovens with this system, the enamel has a porous structure. These pores absorb pollution, and then in them at a temperature of 140-200 ° C is catalyzed: the decomposition of fat into carbon, water and organic residues. To clean the oven does not require the inclusion of a special mode with additional time. This system has a number of disadvantages, the main one being that not all contaminants can be decomposed into the above components from the first time. In addition, after 4-5 years, the catalytic enamel loses its properties, requires replacement of panels. Not the entire inner surface of the oven is covered with enamel with catalytic properties. The bottom and the door will have to be washed by hand, so choose a model with a smooth door with a small number of joints, otherwise you will have to clean each spark.
- Pyrolysis. The oven can have a special mode of cleaning "pyrolysis", in which the inner surfaces are heated to 500 ° C. Contamination is literally "burned", with an unpleasant odor. Therefore, an additional air purification system is required: smoke is removed directly from the oven to the ventilation, there is a special hole for this. A separate mode must be activated to clean the oven. The cleaning cycle takes from 90 to 150 minutes.
Chrome and telescopic runners. Removable guides in the chamber allow you to easily remove and wash them, even in dishwashers, and this type of guides does not damage the enamel during frequent cooking. Telescopic guides for baking trays and grills allow you to easily check the cooking process, while ensuring your safety. Guides are usually attached to existing side guides, preventing your dish from slipping or tipping over.
When buying an oven, you should carefully study its dimensions for installation. When making a custom kitchen, you should first compose and choose appliances, and then order furniture for it. If you choose a built-in oven, you should know that there is a standard size of the niche for the oven - 60 cm. Our store also offers compact ovens (width 60 cm, height 45 cm with microwave or steamer) and ovens 45 cm wide for them also go from manufacturers sets of surfaces of gas or electric width of 45 cm.). These devices are relevant for small kitchens and families.
The standard volume of the oven is 65 liters, but if you are used to cooking several dishes at once, you should look at ovens with increased capacity: a volume of 70 and even more than 70 liters.
